About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and curious Full-Stack Developer Intern who wants to gain practical experience building and improving real-world web applications.
You will work on guided development projects involving frontend interfaces, backend APIs, databases, and application performance.
This role is ideal for students and fresh graduates who understand web development fundamentals and want to explore how a live startup product operates.
Internship Details:
- Type: Unpaid educational internship (₹0 stipend)
- Location: Remote, India
- Duration: 8–12 weeks
- Commitment: Approximately 8–12 hours per week
- Experience: Freshers and entry-level candidates
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining responsive web features using Next.js, React, and TypeScript. - Build reusable frontend components and integrate backend APIs. - Learn to implement RESTful APIs and server-side business logic. - Work with PostgreSQL databases, SQL queries, and application data models. - Contribute to supervised improvements to anonymous posts, comments, reactions, and campus feeds. - Support feature development for the jobs and internships platform. - Identify bugs, debug application errors, and improve code quality. - Write basic unit and integration tests. - Learn secure development practices, input validation, and privacy-conscious application design. - Participate in GitHub-based collaboration, code reviews, and technical discussions. - Document implemented functionality and development decisions.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Familiarity with React.js or Next.js. - Basic understanding of Node.js and server-side development. - Understanding of REST APIs and HTTP methods. - Fundamental knowledge of SQL or relational databases. - Basic experience with Git and GitHub. - Understanding of asynchronous JavaScript. - Good debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills. - At least one academic, personal, or open-source web project. - Willingness to learn and work with feedback. **Good to have:** TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, PostgreSQL, Neon, authentication fundamentals, testing frameworks, Redis, and web security basics.
