About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Frontend Developer Intern who enjoys turning ideas into beautiful, responsive, and functional interfaces.
You will learn how to build and improve user-facing features for a live social platform using modern frontend technologies.
The internship focuses on user experience, responsive design, accessibility, component development, and frontend performance.
You'll gain exposure to how product design decisions are translated into production-ready interfaces through guided tasks and code reviews.
Internship Details:
- Type: Unpaid educational internship (₹0 stipend)
- Location: Remote, India
- Duration: 8–12 weeks
- Commitment: Approximately 8–12 hours per week
- Experience: Freshers and entry-level candidates
Responsibilities
- Assist in building responsive UI components using React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS. - Improve user interfaces across mobile, tablet, and desktop screen sizes. - Work on supervised design improvements to confession feeds, cards, navigation, and community pages. - Support frontend improvements for job listings and application forms. - Translate Figma designs or UI references into working components. - Create reusable components with consistent styling and behaviour. - Implement loading states, error handling, and form validation interfaces. - Integrate frontend components with existing APIs. - Improve accessibility, usability, and keyboard navigation. - Identify and resolve layout inconsistencies and UI bugs. - Learn frontend performance optimization and Core Web Vitals. - Collaborate using GitHub and participate in code reviews.
Requirements
- Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. - Familiarity with React.js fundamentals. - Understanding of responsive layouts and mobile-first design. - Basic knowledge of CSS Flexbox and Grid. - Familiarity with consuming REST APIs. - Understanding of component-based development. - Basic Git and GitHub knowledge. - Attention to typography, spacing, colour consistency, and usability. - A personal project, portfolio, or GitHub repository demonstrating frontend skills. - Willingness to learn new frameworks and development practices. **Good to have:** Next.js App Router, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, Figma, accessibility practices, and frontend performance tools.
