For Indian campuses

Anonymous college confessions in India

confessit.lol is a campus feed where students post confessions, campus tea, exam vents and placement talk without an account, an email address or a name. Every campus has its own feed, so what you read is from your college — not from a national timeline.

How the anonymity actually works

Most “anonymous” confession pages are anonymous only in the sense that they do not print your name. This one is built so that there is no name to print: nothing asks for one at sign-up because there is no sign-up. Confessions appear under an alias that is generated per thread, so two posts from the same reader are not linkable to each other by other students.

  • The server keeps a device record and a short-lived token in browser memory for abuse prevention. It is used for reports and lawful requests, and it is never rendered on a page.
  • Phone numbers, handles and other personal details are blocked before a confession appears, which is what stops a confession from becoming a doxxing thread.
  • Network data tied to a confession (IP address and user agent) is kept for 180 days for abuse investigations. The privacy policy lists every field — including the ones that are never collected.

Questions students actually ask

Do I need an account or an email address to post?
No. Reading, posting, replying and voting need no account, no email and no phone number. The site asks for nothing that identifies you.
Is it really anonymous?
Posts carry an alias, never a name. The platform keeps a server-side device record and a short-lived token in browser memory for abuse prevention, and that record is never shown to other students or in public pages.
Which campuses are covered?
Every campus listed below has its own feed. If your college is missing, ask for it once from the request-a-campus page and it is reviewed.
How is content moderated?
Confessions pass moderation before they appear, personal details such as phone numbers and handles are blocked, and every confession can be reported. Doxxing and targeted harassment are against the rules and are removed.
What does the site store about me?
A device record used for abuse prevention, and network data (IP address and user agent) tied to a confession and held for 180 days for abuse investigations and lawful requests. The privacy policy lists every field, including what is never collected.
Is it free?
Yes. Reading and posting are free, there is no paywall and no account to buy. Support is optional and is not a donation.
